The hustle and bustle in the bumpy side streets and alleys of old Delhi's center was tremendous. The chaos of a seven-working-days-week seemed to have no ending. But when the sun set down on the first of the two national holidays (celebration of spring) the spirit of New Delhi's Hindu districts showed a kind of evening mood.
