It felt like something between an evening prayer and a street rampage. It was “Holi”, the most import holiday in the Hindu world.

The hustle and bustle in the bumpy side streets and alleys of Central Delhi's old neighborhoods were tremendous. The chaos of a seven-day workweek seemed never-ending. But when the sun set over the city on the first of the two national holidays celebrating spring, serene evening mood took over.
