The photographed facilities belonged to CE INFOSYS GmbH, a once pioneering cryptography company based in Germany. The site included office space and a medium-sized production area measuring 37 x 20 meters and 37 x 37 meters, where IT security tools were developed for both software and hardware applications.

The facilities appear to have been abandoned since 2007, following the company’s declaration of insolvency. To this day, the founder and legally liable Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Georg Krause, has evaded creditors and law enforcement, reportedly relocating to Singapore, where he continues to work in his area of expertise.
