• Tucked between a motorway junction and an aging business district, something remarkable happened.

Here we stumbled upon a rewilded pearl orchard. On a site consisting of a modest administrative office complex – with several rooms and two medium-sized production halls measuring 37 × 20 meters and 37 × 37 meters – a biotope has emerged.

Evidence suggests the premises were abandoned in 2007. A brief investigation of scattered on-site documents, archived websites, and local newspaper clippings revealed that these were the remnants of a once-pioneering cryptography firm developing IT security solutions for both software and hardware.

Business registry records confirm that the company filed for insolvency the same year. Its founder and sole liable CEO, reportedly evaded both creditors and law enforcement. His Facebook profile suggests he relocated to Singapore, where he appears to be working in cryptographic security to this day.
