While working at Ambiente, the biggest international consumer goods trade fair in Frankfurt, I was mesmerized by the empty exhibition booths and remnants left behind. It was early morning in Winter during the dismantling phase. Wandering through the halls with tunnel vision from the sleep deprivation of long night shifts, I occasionally paused to take some photos with my phone. For me these images serve as quick reminder of all the waste that falls short in the background of so many activities.
