After finishing our research in Bhopal, our flight back to Germany was cancelled, leaving us unexpectedly in Mumbai. With a 12-hour layover before the next flight, we decided not to wait at the airport. Instead, we took a TukTuk into the city center.

Mumbai was unlike anything I had ever experienced. The noise and energy were overwhelming, and I was struck by the sight of towering skyscrapers rising directly from squatter areas. It was intense, chaotic, and fascinating all at once. Mumbai is definitely a city that calls for a comeback.
